Luke 16:10 NIV
10 “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.
God trusts us with so much. He allows us to use His Son’s Name for all our prayers and requests. He trusts us with His heart. He trusts us to choose to love Him. He has more faith in us than we do in Him sometimes.
There is a test we must pass to see where we are with God and how far we can go. He will start us off with something small to see if we can be trusted to complete the task He gives us. If we are faithful with the small, then He will start to bless us with more. The more trustworthy we are, the more blessings we will receive from Him.
We need to show God how trustworthy we are. Every challenge should be faced with the realization we need to please God and show we want more of Him in our lives. Our ultimate goal should be to prove we are worthy to be trusted with all God has for us. Whether this is money, knowledge, love, or anything else, we need to prove where our heart is with God.
Father, I am honored You trust me enough to teach me how to grow. I offer my heart up to You. Please help me show You, and me, I am capable of being trusted with more of You in my life. You only give good gifts to me, and I want to be trusted with the small, so I can grow into the large. Thank You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
