Philippians 2:11 New International Version
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
Not only will we bow when Jesus comes back, everyone will confess that Jesus is Lord. This brings glory to God, because this is how He has set things up from the beginning of time. He knew Jesus would have to come and die for our sins. This was the plan for the redemption set in place for the sins of all the people.
Every person will acknowledge that Jesus is the Christ and He is Lord over everything and everyone. Some people who are opposed to this truth now will be surprised and uncomfortable. They will realize their mistake and what they are going to miss. The believers will be overjoyed to speak what they have believed for years. Being ready now will make that day even more exciting!
Father, it’s amazing this has been the plan before You set this world in motion. You knew we would fall into sin, yet You still made us and love us immensely. Thank You for allowing us to speak what is truly in our hearts; Jesus Christ is Lord. You get praise and glory for this truth. In Jesus Name, Amen!
